Unfortunately it’ll probably be that way for a while longer – I have a LOT of uni work to do at the moment. But I couldn’t resist posting about Ming Makes Cupcakes.  Ming Thompson posts the most amazing sounding recipes for cookies, savouries and, yep, cupcakes. And the photos have me hypnotised. Here’s a few I’m going to beg Jason to make for my next birthday tea party (he’s the cupcake maker extraordinaire in our house). I die.

In other minor news I’ve been obsessed with cooking lately. Have made penne a la vodka again, white bean and rosemary stew, black pepper and romano pasta, attempted a chocolate mole sauce, tomato and corn pie, lentil shepherd’s pie, baked cherry tomato sauce pasta.. and the list goes on. Maybe Ming will inspire me to finally get baking? If anything will, it’s these gorgeous cupcake photos.
