Besides enjoying being made a fuss of on any occasion, I’ve never been that big on Valentine’s Day. However, our first wedding anniversary (kind of a big deal yo) is February 13th and so I am feeling a little cheese is necessary. I’m delighted to have been married to my husband for nearly a year (not so delighted about fighting other cheesy couples for dinner reservations every year for the rest of our lives, but que cera). This is something I’d wear on a date, if I had a few grand to throw around. A pretty blouse, a flat shoe, and something to show I don’t take it all too seriously.

Oops, where’d I go? I guess I had a bit of blog burn out, my bad. I’ve been data entrying, watching the entire first season of Veronica Mars in about five minutes, and screaming myself hoarse at the roller derby (SLOW DERBY SUCKS!). Today I wanted to post some pictures of a few small things I’m coveting at Ruby, I believe I have a $50 voucher from spending too many pennies on shoes there in the past… I hope those things don’t run out? If it hasn’t I might actually have a chance at getting one or two of these cute things.

We moved almost all our stuff to our new place yesterday, so everything is in that terrible half-unpacked state. There’s a million things to do and I forgot to bring the milk so I can’t have any tea, but I’m so happy to be in this sunny house with three of my favourite people, and some pretty awesome friends nearby too. Plus Sweet Mother’s Kitchen. And Oriental Parade. And the supermarket and sunday markets. Life win!

Megan is always alerting me to the most awesome stuff, usually cat related. Today it was Audrey Jeanne, a French designer and illustrator. Everything she makes is so precious, but I’m especially taken by these gift wrapping ideas using her stamps.
