While in Las Vegas I had the best breakfast of my life, at Thomas Keller’s Bouchon at The Venetian.

I had the Breakfast Jardiniere which started with juice, tea, fruit salad and a pastry of your choice. I had an amazingly rich pain au chocolat, of which I could only manage a bite.

Jason started with a strawberry croissant (and grapefruit juice).

The second half of my breakfast: sauteed spinach, poached eggs in butter sauce on brioche with Lyonnaise potatoes. Madness!

I wish I could have finished every bite, as it was I nearly had to be rolled home.

We went downstairs to peek at the bakery before we left.


My only regret is not eating here every day in Vegas! Jason said the same thing.

SO JEALOUS! this looks incredible. incredible! i must eat breakfast there before i die
that food looks fantastic. i had biscuits and gravy at bob evans this morning, and it had nothing on that food. of course, i probably couldn’t have gotten very far in your meals since i’m allergic to ouves :(
