Toute Petite

I recently took part in a swap with the lovely Aurélie of Toute Petite, a wonderful blog about beautiful things and life in Paris. You can see what I sent her in this post of hers, and I can’t wait to show you what she sent me. So many delightful things!
Now that our final exhibition is up and running, life will be back to normal. I’ll have lots more time for blogging – especially as looking for a job = lots of free time. Oh, the exhibition is running in the museum building and the fine arts block at Massey University until next Sunday if you’d like to visit it. I really recommend visiting the textiles part of the show as well as the fine arts. I’m in love with textile design – I have a few papers to take next year to finish my degree off, I think I’ll have to give some textiles a go.
Can anyone recommend a photographer in Wellington? Our wedding photographers have backed out, it’s quite sad. We’re looking for fresh, modern but dreamy light-filled photos, though I don’t think we’ll be too fussy on the day as we’re trying to have a great party rather than a wedding. Emerging or established photographers, any recommendations at all would be so appreciated!

We used Loren Batson, she works for the DomPost/Stuff, but does freelance stuff too. She was AMAZING! So laid back, easy to deal with, open to any ideas and very reasonably priced. Made the whole process super painless – which is totally what you need in a wedding photogrpaher! Email her at lorenbatson@hotmail.com, or email me and I’ll forward you some pics to peruse!
I can’t recommend her personally (as I’ve never worked with her), but I have met her, and she blogs and tweets too. Her name is Kathryn Wilson, she seems lovely.

Thanks guys!
Oh you’re getting married?! Congratulations though I’m sure this is pretty belated. I would recommend my boyfriend who takes pictures for my blog. He’s only just starting out. You may want someone a bit more established but he definitely would not take those horrid cheesy wedding photos that most wedding photographers seem to think everyone wants.
just get a asian themed photo sticker booth. They are dreamy, and you can put cartoons on them too. Super Kawaii!
