A few days ago I made oatmeal choc chip cookies, wrapped them up individually in paper doilies, tied up a few together with string dyed with food colouring, made little tags and delivered them to some friends. Now I’m hungry, I wish I had some left.

What a nifty, crafty, and adorable idea!!! I am bookmarking this right away and can’t wait to try it! Maybe I will make some fall-smelling cookies and wrap them with little strips of flannel material…hehe maybe I am going too far!
Seriously, I LOVE this idea!
Lovely!
It is such a lovely idea!
Your friends are lucky, it is a very sweet present
Another lovely item to cross off of your fab list! :)
I think I’ll add ‘deliver homemade cookies to friends’ to my next list OR maybe I’ll do it just because.
These look amazing! Yum!
okay maybe you need to make more coz I am sad that Nic ate all mine. We can do a trade…you like ginger kisses coz I made them last night and they were freaking amazing.

Just can to your blog today via hello sandwich – and it’s full of the loveliest things! these cookies especially are such a wonderful and thoughtful idea. I’ll look forward to coming back to your beautiful place here!
Amazing idea! I love beautifully wrapped presents. I like to spend a lot of time on them. If you’re interested, the $2 shop has packs of different sized & patterned white paper doillies. 30 in one packet.
that’s a lovely way to give away cookies! i love wrapping up things as a nice gift, but usually i give cookies away in glass jars. next, if i don’t have to travel with the cookies, i might think about using your lovely method of packaging (:
Thanks everyone. :)
Jane – Love you too lady.
Caitlin – I used the recipe I linked to above, I always lose yours! Sorry you didn’t get any, only Wellington people got them really. :(
Em – Yes I need to try homemade ginger kisses!
ondressingup – I’ll def check out the doillies in the $2 shop! I think mine came from Moore Wilson’s? Some heart-shaped ones would be great!
