My bridesmaid Emma recently ordered her bridesmaid dress from vintage etsy store Old Age. Ain’t it pretty?

I’m going to Auckland tomorrow for a bridesmaid-a-thon, Emma and Lizzie of Wellington are coming too, Natalie & Jane already live in Auckland and Caitlin’s just returned from Colorado (I’m so excited to see her!). Emma and I will be hunting for fabric for my wedding dress and we’ll be looking for vintage bridesmaid dresses for the other four. The only problem is I can’t decide if I want them to all be in varying shades of coral, similar to this wedding:

or!

All in vintage dresses of different colours? I think it could be really cute…
What do you think?

i think either for our bridesmaid dresses is going to be awesome. I forgot how gorgeous emma’s dress will be. yay. can’t wait to see you soon.
Oh my goodness! You will never believe that having vintage dresses in different pastel colours is my plan for my wedding (one day!) too! I was at my mums vintage clothing shop yesterday and saw the perfect ones!!! I asked if we could keep them for my wedding and she said ‘Ebony, we have to find you a HUSBAND first!’ haha!
I think we must be twins separated at birth!
:)
Have a happy Tuesday!

Lizzie – Can’t wait to see you soon too. Which would you rather? I have a new theory that you don’t mind what colour you’ll be wearing cos you’ll be hiding all the photos of you not wearing black or grey!
Hello Sandwich – Haha! Wow that is some crazy coincidence huh? You’re so lucky you have access to all the wonderful dresses at your mum’s shop (it’s called something like Ebony’s closet if I remember correctly? hehe)! I’m off on a hunt through the vintage stores of Auckland tomorrow to see what I can see. Hopefully I can make a decision from what I find! xx
It really an interesting idea to have different pastel colors for brides maid dresses.
