If you, like me, believe breakfast to be the very best meal of the day you must be introduced to Cesca & her flickr photostream. Her amazing, colourful & delicious breakfast compositions blow me away. To me there’s joy in domestic life, in turning every day routine into a enjoyable, personal ritual; enjoying clean crisp sheets, fresh flowers or drinking from your favourite teacup in the morning sunshine. I think Cesca takes it to a whole new level and elevates breakfast to extraordinary – imagine what the day could bring or what you’d accomplish after sitting down to dreamy morning meals like these.
Oh dear, it makes me too hungry! Instead of lunch today I had second breakfast (the first was an avocado, smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel, second was weetbix with banana and a little maple syrup, just so you know). And hungry for homewares too, I just went out and bought two red bistro plates. Perhaps I’ll try my own breakfast composition tomorrow.

These photos look good enough to hang on my wall. Except that I’d be craving delicious all the time. I’ve never had coco pops with strawberries but I think I pretty much have to now.
